Kathy has worked in the Civil Service since 2005 and is currently a Deputy Director at the Department for Business and Industrial Strategy (BIST). She has a degree in Environmental Science and a PhD in Ecology, with extensive experience in strategy, policy and board-level governance, including working with government, industry and academic organisations.
Kathy has three children and brings a parent’s perspective to the importance of providing an inclusive and supportive environment for young people.
