Christine joined Reigate College as Head of Mathematics in 1989 and remained at the College for 31 years. During that time, she was promoted to Director of Learning and then Assistant Principal (Quality & Operations). She held this post until she retired in 2020.
Christine served for a total of 12 years as a governor at both the primary and secondary schools attended by her sons. In her retirement, Christine has taken on several voluntary roles working for charities including Citizens Online (a charity focusing on digital and social inclusion) and Bookmark (giving children reading skills and confidence).
